Welcome to Gainesville Camellia Society
The Gainesville Camellia Society is dedicated to cultivating appreciation for the camellia by inspiring interest, sharing knowledge, and encouraging the enjoyment of this remarkable plant among members and the wider community. We promote excellence in camellia culture, support horticultural education, and advance both the botanical and artistic value of camellias through public outreach, annual shows, and collaboration with like-minded organizations including the American Camellia Society.
Through our events, partnerships, and philanthropic efforts, we strive to enhance civic beautification, contribute to horticultural scholarship, and support public gardens throughout the Gainesville region. All society activities are carried out solely for educational and charitable purposes, without financial benefit to the organization’s members.
